Jacquie Aiche

Jacquie Aiche is a champion of nature and spirituality. Her eponymous fine jewelry line is adored for its mix of delicacy and dynamite precious gemstones. From moonstone to tourmaline, ruby to aquamarine, the collection offers a connection and appeal to women of all ages, shapes, and sizes. Jacquie has created a powerful tribe of women who channel beauty, power, and wisdom when wearing her jewelry.

On a warm LA afternoon, Jacquie invited us by her charming studio for a closer look at her jewels. The laid-back California vibes of the space and her welcoming team have the kind of energy that make us New Yorkers question whether it’s time to make a move out West. The airy indoor-outdoor environment perfectly conveys the Jacquie Aiche lifestyle. We left hoping to someday be initiated into the “JA Tribe” along with the likes of Emily Ratajkowski, Behati Prinsloo, and Sama and Haya Khadra: the effortlessly cool women featured in Jacquie’s sexy campaigns. -Jenna Fain for The Stone Set

“I was a wild child, full of ideas and creativity growing up in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles. My school notebooks were always full of concepts, sketches, and designs. I’d find rocks and pieces of pyrite in our backyard and collect them. My parents encouraged me and one day someone very special gave me a piece of stone with minerals as a gift…and that is where my passion for jewelry began. The colors and designs were so unique and beautiful I felt I had to find a way to showcase them. It was a natural progression to begin designing jewelry.

My pieces have always held special meaning. Various cultures throughout history have attributed special powers and properties to different gems, stones and metals. My designs reflect and celebrate those intrinsic properties, such as protection, healing energy, the ability to open your heart to attract love to you, imbue happiness, joy and a feeling of well-being, provide calming and soothing influences, or energize you, ward off stress and negative influences, bring wisdom and clarity, alleviate fears, grant strength, attract prosperity, overcome mental blocks…or simply make a woman feel more beautiful.

The finger bracelet is the piece that put me on the map in 2009 and it has been an important part of my collection ever since. It is a timeless piece and every woman who wears it feels sexier and more beautiful. And men who see them wearing it sense that. It’s no wonder it has become so popular worldwide.

Natural gemstones and minerals are still the most beautiful materials to me. I have always tried to express the true nature of each of the different materials I work with. It all comes together when a woman can find that special piece of jewelry that resonates with her alone.

Here on the West Coast, the weather is so good, you can find inspiration everywhere: the ocean, the mountains, the trees and the desert. I also am inspired by the beauty of every woman I meet; There is something in every woman that can inspire a new design. And finally the materials I work with inspire their own designs. My favorite process is searching for the right gems and balancing the colors. It’s actually very therapeutic.

My body jewelry design began with the finger bracelet – which led to other ornamental art like the toe anklet which led to full body chains. Women’s bodies are so beautiful that finding a way to adorn and grace them is a pleasure.

The most important lesson I’ve learned in both my business and my personal life it to always be true to yourself and authentic in your life. With so many things going on at once, it is easy to be swept away by success or veered off your individual path by obstacles but you must continue to believe in yourself and stay the course. That is the simple reason why the spiritual aspect of life, expressed in my designs, is so important to me.” –Jacquie Aiche
