Katie Nehra doesn’t sleep much. The LA-based mover and shaker has made her imprint in acting, screenwriting, comedy, and fashion design. On the acting front, Katie recently co-starred in action-comedy “Mr. Right” opposite Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell. Variety pronounced Katie to possess “Cameron Diaz potential in her…significant role.” We first noticed Katie through her successful line of bespoke leather jackets and shrunken lettermans, Simone by Katie Nehra. Her designs have been worn by starlets like Mary-Kate Olsen, Nicole Richie, Allison Williams, and Rachel Zoe.
In between working on her next screenplay, the story of an interracial couple trying to navigate today’s challenging world, and planning the launch of Simone’s new suede jackets, Katie invited us over for a late afternoon drink. Upon arriving, she cracked a few beers and made us feel instantly at ease in her airy house high in the Hollywood Hills. After getting in some playtime with her adorable rescue dog Arthur, we dove right into Katie’s ecclectic assortment of daily diamonds.

I don’t believe in only wearing diamonds when you are dressed up. I think women should wear diamonds as much as humanly possible. Nothing is better than a low cut t-shirt, jeans, and diamonds. I love the juxtaposition of faux fur Puma slides with a diamond anklet. High and low is the best way to go!
I’m at my house in Los Angeles drinking a beer. Red Stripe is my favorite and it’s from one of my favorite vacay spots, Jamaica! After a long day, it’s nice to unwind at my house with a drink and just chill.
I’m wearing a lot of Anita Ko. The Panther ring and Saturn ring are two of my go-to faves. Anita’s jewelry is completely decadent but casual at the same time. So, you never want to take it off, ever. I’m also wearing an anklet from her that she made special for me. I had to get the smaller diamonds though, so I could afford it!
My KDIA 100 necklace is always a conversation piece. I had to explain the meaning of “Keepin’ it 100” to my doctor! My earrings are Elise Dray and they’re a tiger and a leaf. The crosses are by Stone Paris. The skull ring is an antique that I got from that antique store on Beverly Boulevard. My bracelet is Cartier and is the handcuff in rose gold. They unfortunately don’t make it anymore.
